I worked as an inside sales representative on the Dell Partner Direct Queue. I handled inbound calls from thousands of partners who are registered/partnered with Dell to resell Dell equipment. I also made outbound calls to follow up with accounts that I’d acquired via the queue system, sent /answered emails, created quotes, placed orders, set up conference calls with customers in order to get their questions answered by product specialists, as well as took care of all the additional administrative duties that I performed while in the sales support position described below.Prior to becoming a sales representative, I was in an introductory sales support position at Dell. My primary responsibilities were creating quotes for customers, researching end user customer numbers and attaching them to corresponding orders, placing orders for other representatives to allow them to focus more on sales, and correcting errors within orders to speed along the process of getting them delivered to their ultimate destinations.

MyOfficeProducts is one of the largest independently owned office supply companies in the United States. As an inside sales representative, I was responsible for making 100+ outbound calls per day. My job revolved around attempting to win over new potential clients and expanding the revenue from existing accounts. I also handled inbound calls/emails, trained new employees on the CRM/general sales tactics, answered questions from co-workers, and communicated directly with other departments (accounting, IT, etc.) when the need arose.

For a majority of my time at United Record Pressing, I worked as the assistant manager of the distribution department. My duties included receiving new inventory from vendors, stocking individual records in their appropriate locations, assembling/packing orders, determining shipping costs via UPS/FedEx software, and keeping full inventory of all titles on hand. Prior to becoming assistant manager, I worked a general assembly job in the URP warehouse. Here, I used a forklift to transport records from the plant to the warehouse, placed the records into their jackets, added any additional inserts, and moved the finished product into the main warehouse to be shrink wrapped.

WIS International is an inventory service that travels from place to place in order to give retail stores detailed and accurate inventory reports on the merchandise on their floor and in their stockroom. Our primary client was Dollar General, but we would often help count larger stores such as Target and JCPenney. My duties included physically taking the inventory, leading small specialized teams within larger stores, communicating with store management, and training new hires with the inventory equipment.
