• Responsible for the direct supervision of 5 team members handling 76 Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) and Assisted Living Facilities (ALF) with roughly 8,000 patient beds. o Ensure my team effectively manages each patient inside the Nursing Facility through payer verifications, communication with facilities, patients and 3rd party payers, and reporting tools. o Manage the monthly invoice correction process with each facility to ensure all charges are validated through a 3rd party company which reviews invoices for accuracy. • Lead my team to ensure the accuracy of both daily census and End of Month (EOM) billing to validate facilities and patients receive accurate invoices in a timely manner o Analyze trends with internal errors to develop additional training materials for team members to ensure future errors are eliminated• Evaluate current Accounts Receivable outstanding accounts to determine if accounts need corrected, written off, or sent to Internal Collections Department for review with external Collections Agency• Promote continuous improvement through consistent communication with team and providing changes to workflow and processes through their feedback• Provide consistent and timely responses to internal and external customers seeking assistance from the Revenue Cycle Operations department
