The Downtown Long Beach Alliance (DLBA) is a non-profit organization operating on behalf of the tenants and commercial and residential property owners of the Business Improvement District. It is dedicated to the management, marketing, security, maintenance, advocacy, economic and community development of the assessment districts in cooperation with the City of Long Beach and the private sector.

Appointed to serve by Long Beach Mayor Garcia and the City Council.The Economic Development Commission shall advise and recommend to the City Council and the City Manager on matters pertaining to activities affecting economic development within the City, in the creation of private-sector employment opportunities and business ventures, on methods of coordinating economic efforts.

Founded in 1914 by a group of American companies that supported an open world trading system, the NFTC and its affiliates now serve more than 300 member companies through offices in Washington and New York.Tracked federal and state unilateral and multilateral economic sanctions; Research and analyzed trade policy, international tax policy, export control issues and international human resource issues; Drafted legislative position letters on behalf of the National Foreign Trade Council to congressional leadership; Archived congressional staff contact information and scheduled meetings with staff members for re-authorization of the Import-Export Bank; Briefed National Foreign Trade Council staff on congressional hearings.NFTC representative for the Coalition for Sugar Reform. The WTC LA-LB works to support the development of international trade and business opportunities for Southern California companies as the leading international trade association, trade service organization and trade resource in the Los Angeles region.
