I am an ambitious, hard-working, detail-oriented Automotive Engineer working for Ford Motor Company who is passionate about team collaboration throughout the entire, start-to-finish engineering process. I have a keen interest in engineering and optimization and have consistently pursued challenging activities, inspiring me to become more passionate and invested. I currently work on multiple vehicle programs for both Ford and Lincoln vehicles to improve total vehicle sealing and transport robustness. My work begins at vehicle inception and continues through the final prototyping and production of the vehicle. Collaborating with engineers doing design, analysis, cost optimization, as well as upper-level engineering management is a central focus of my position. I also consistently develop and deliver unique solutions by optimizing engineering processes saving time and budget. I believe that every process can be simplified without relaxing the high standard we hold for our engineering work. University Experience:At Principia, I have performed 3D modeling, prototyping, and machining, and utilized these skills while working on the University of North Dakota Formula SAE team and the Principia Solar Car team. My technical skills and leadership experience have taught me to clearly articulate and communicate my thoughts and ideas, which—along with other important competencies—make me an asset to any team.

I work in the Freshman dorms on campus as a leader within the house. I am in charge of a mens hall where I plan and run hall activities each week. I work collaboratively with a group of other Resident Assistants to communicate activities in coordination with other halls and other houses. As a designer on the UND Formula SAE team I work to design all front and rear hubs and uprights for the 2019 car using all-new suspension geometry. I have designed each part using Solidworks, and I have stress-tested each part using ANSYS Workbench to make sure that my designs complied with the strength requirements given. I have also designed the floating brake rotors that will be used in the 2019 car.

As a mechanical team member on the Principia Solar Car team, I was given the responsibility of designing mechanical components for the steering and suspension parts of the car. When working on the leading arm suspension on RaX (10th solar car competing for Principia College), I became familiar with topographical optimization which uses computer algorithms to shape a part based on forces and loadings. I was also involved in the full analysis of the car in regard to stress testing crash tests and rollover scenarios.
