Passion and interests are two similar but distinct traits.I always thought my passion was medicine. I developed early on a deep love for this amazing field of study. In high school, I took every class I could that related to it. This led me to studying microbiology while at BYU with a focus in medicine. I took every class required to enter medical school. This was in conjuncture with volunteering at the local hospital in the OR and in wound care, working in a special needs home, and volunteering in a research lab that studies proteins of the body. Many of these classes and experiences I thoroughly enjoyed. However, I never found these classes to be fulfilling. Interesting yes... but not fulfilling.My experiences on the other hand gave me greater purpose. I realized as I volunteered that I wanted to serve and make people happy. I found that interacting with various individuals and helping them find solutions to their lives made me feel I had purpose. It was during these last few years of college that I realized my interest was medicine, but my passion was helping people, working with people, and finding solutions for them that would better their lives. I seek after those experiences that help me fulfill that passion.Today, that passion gets to be realized. As a member of the TAM team at Qualtrics, I get to see what it means to live the idea of experience management and work with organizations that are seeking to do the same. I get to help these organizations find unique solutions that will improve their customer's and employee's lives. Ultimately I get to see how these changes result in a positive impact down the line. I'm grateful for this opportunity to be able to realize my passion and for the journey that has gotten me to where I am today.
