I had the privilege of wearing several hats for Ward Landscapes. The first was that of COO. As the Chief Operating Officer, it was my task to assess the businesses operations and make the changes needed to help Ward Landscapes with the growth that it has been experiencing for the last several years. Ward Landscapes is the best landscaping business in the Carbon and Emery area and has had great success, it has been my opportunity to help establish operations, policies, and procedures to help sustain that growth. I also wore the hat of project manager. This responsibility allowed me to manage many of the employees at Ward Landscapes as I directed them to complete projects from cradle to grave. This duty allowed me to see how the company operates from many different angles which in turn helped me to better structure operations. While working in this role I increased my knowledge and skills with using Quickbooks.

I was asked to teach a personal finance class for Utah State University Eastern for the Spring 2018 semester. In this role I wrote a curriculum of basic financial concepts and instructed students throughout southeastern Utah. During course end reviews I received higher than average results.
