As Center Operations Supervisor for USO Oklahoma/Arkansas, I manage the physical USO Center building on Fort Sill including computers, gaming systems, and a full commercial kitchen. I also onboard and train our loyal volunteers that serve our active-duty service members and their families at Fort Sill, Altus AFB, Tinker AFB, Vance AFB, Sheppard AFB, TX and both the Oklahoma City and Little Rock MEPS stations.

This was a freelance position, filling in on Saturday and Sunday evenings as the on-air meteorologist for Gray's station in Wichita Falls, TX. In addition to the on-air presentation, I updated social media feeds and maintained the weather section of the station's website.

Building and vehicle fleet maintenance make up a majority of the duties. As needed, I will respond to death calls at residences and nursing homes, cosmeticize and dress bodies, stage staterooms and funerals and usher services.

This was a freelance position, filling in on Saturday evenings as the on-air meteorologist for Nexstar's station in Wichita Falls, TX. In addition to the on-air presentation, I updated the forecast for local radio outlets, updated social media feeds and maintained the weather section of the station's website.

I taught six sections of physical science to 140 students at Lawton Eisenhower High School. I, along with a co-teacher, planned, taught and evaluated students on various physics and chemistry-based topics. Daily lessons varied from group readings to independent practice to small labs that helped reinforce the week's topic.

I provided daily video forecasts to both the Oklahoma Life TV and Oklahoma Sports Network Facebook pages. I also livestreamed to those pages during significant severe weather events across Southwest and Southern Oklahoma.

• Broadcast weather conditions, forecasts, and severe weather warnings nightly at 4, 5, 6, 10 & 11 to 492,000 households via television, website, mobile apps, radio, and social media.• Conducted live and taped interviews on science- and lifestyle-related topics.• Assumed control of local programming to deliver pertinent severe weather information to help protect life and property.• Used Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter to deliver engaging social media content to the station’s 277,000 followers.• Delivered engaging and hands-on weather talks and experiments to local schools• Gathered necessary and important data from sources such as surface or upper air stations, satellites, weather bureaus, and/or radar for use in meteorological reports or forecasts.• Explained difficult scientific or technical phenomena and terminology in such a way that the audience would understand.• Consulted with other offices, agencies, professionals, or researchers regarding the use and interpretation of climatological information for weather predictions and warnings.• Worked from home during the height of Covid-19 using Splashtop remote workspace program, Audacity audio recording software and Facebook Live.

• Created character-based lesson plan for a program catering to at-risk elementary-aged military youth.• Oversaw operation of facility dedicated to providing snacks and comfort to nearly 10,000 active-duty military, veterans and family members yearly while waiting for flights at a local airport.• Worked closely with 50+ volunteers to ensure USO-style facility was delivering top-notch hospitality, reaching one third of all passengers enplaned at the airport.• Attended quarterly airport authority meetings to brief city officials on numbers served.• Collaborated with fellow administrative staff to create tailored programs for hundreds of lower-enlisted soldiers and their families.• Actively sought donors and volunteers by detailing the organization’s need, key focal group and mission statement.• Worked closely with counselors, principals, educators and parents to the lay foundation to expand character-building program to additional grades, schools and districts.
