• Managed the development and implementation of Phase II of a telemetry system project on deice trucks which gathers data such as spray start/stop times, GPS location, operator performance, and more in order to eliminate throughput constraints related to deicing events and to provide usage information to determine maintenance intervals. Phase II consisted of coordinating factory installation on 35 trucks, estimating project details for retrofitting 203 additional trucks, and consultation on operator interface.• Evaluated reliability index results and managed engineering efforts to improve reliability for assigned GSE equipment.• Authored Engineering Authorizations (EAs) to improve safety and reliability of existing fleet based on recommendations from manufacturers’ service bulletins, findings from a reliability index, and efforts to avoid future safety incidents. • Authored Engineering Reports and Purchase Specifications to ensure fleet consistency and to ensure station-specific requirements were met.• Analyzed and conducted tests on new GSE equipment, working directly with suppliers and vendors, in order to determine whether equipment was worthy of purchase based on affordability, manufacturing quality, ease of operation, and serviceability. Provided system-wide engineering support for loading bridges, preconditioned air units, 400Hz ground power units, deice trucks, and bag handling equipment.

•Programmed an Arduino microcontroller using C# programming language to control the operation of the pneumatics in a stroke rehabilitation device.•Developed a video game using Unity3D software that communicated with an Arduino microcontroller through C# programming language that served as an interactive interface for a stroke rehabilitation device.

•Managed teams of 15-25 volunteers to build 300 square foot homes in 3 or 4 days for Guatemalan families.•Modified house plans to fit various geometric site restrictions and to observe property line agreements.•Collaborated with volunteers possessing various degrees of construction experience to approach solutions that best met the needs of Guatemalan future-homeowners.

•Implemented “Single Point Disconnect” technology by retrofitting jet tractors and towbars with infrared sensors, proximity sensors, reflectors, and indicator lights in order to reduce a multi step process into a single step which saved estimated $90 million per year.•Developed a Visual Basic macro that streamlined Delta’s luggage data reporting system •Designed, tested, and evaluated grounds support equipment modifications to improve safety and decrease maintenance costs.

• Researched, brainstormed, and executed concepts for a brain-controlled (using an EEG), 3D motion, stroke rehabilitation robot in the Georgia Tech BrainLab for Dr. Melody Moore Jackson.• Drafted an experimental procedure in which patients are instructed control a stroke rehab robot with their brains.

•Programmed controllers with Metasys software to automate HVAC equipment controls in building applications.•Validated HVAC system performance of Air Handling Units (AHU) and Variable Air Volume (VAV) units before final sign-off.

•Tested and verified installation and operational quality of the total HVAC package by executing the commissioning process in commercial building projects.
