My background includes 15+ years of software development, automation, IT and general management experience primarily in the manufacturing and agriculture industries. My professional experience includes executive IT responsibility for both large global businesses and small local companies.He specializes in software and web development, robotics and automation, lean thinking, and strategic IT management. I joined Mid-States in February 2017 and have since led the strategic transformation and growth of the IT department through multiple initiatives. I have or am running point on the creation and development of a new Learning Management System (LMS) platform, implementation of a new Production Information Management (PIM) solution, implementation of Dynamics 365, industry leading virtual events platform, and has curated many new strategic supplier relationships.Prior to Mid-States, I led the creation and development of Priefert Manufacturing’s online presence including online tools like Priefert Direct, development of the internal tools used by sales and marketing and worked on research and development projects utilizing cutting edge technologies in the area of robotics. Through my SEO and online marketing initiatives in the first two years Priefert’s yearly online unique viewership rose over 250%. Prior to joining Priefert Manufacturing, I worked with many Cold Storage Facilities and Packing Plants where utilizing Lean Manufacturing he would renovate and improve business processes, automate and modernize the internal workings of the facility, and often times be involved in the development and planning of new facilities and or growth initiatives. Earlier, I held executive or management roles at Sand Creek Post & Beam, Caviness Beef Packers, and Vandeberg Scales. I joined the United States Army right after high school as a Network Switching Systems Operator and Maintainer. I am a husband and father of two children, when not at work I enjoy ditching the computer and working on the ranch, hunting, wood working, or in general being outdoors
