I am a well-rounded individual with diverse experience in various fields. I have one year of teaching experience in higher education and four years of working with three professional teams, one minor league team, one collegiate athletic department, and two high schools. My expertise includes ticketing, promotions, sport retail, media, and athletic coaching.Currently, I work as an Assistant Professor of Sport Management and Business at Pfeiffer University. I partner with the program coordinator to revise the Sport Management curriculum and use project-based learning to give students opportunities to practice in-class concepts. Additionally, I supervise and facilitate Fellowship of Christian Athlete (FCA) meetings, instituted the Pfeiffer University Sport Management club, and structure courses to meet university and program quality enhancement plan (QEP) goals.Previously, I worked as a Promotions Team Member for the Charlotte Knights, and as a Ticket Operations Associate/Gate Captain for Tepper Sports & Entertainment, working with the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC.In addition to my professional experience, I have also coached wide receivers and special teams at Jay M. Robinson High School and North Stanly High School. I also worked as an Analytics Coordinator and Running backs Coach at North Stanly High School.I hold a Master of Arts in Sport Management from Wingate University, where I concentrated on NCAA compliance, advising, and administration, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Management from Pfeiffer University, where I minored in Athletic Coaching. I also hold an A.A. Transfer Degree from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College and have been inducted into both Delta Mu Delta International Business Honor Society and Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.I am passionate about sharing current market trends with my students and am always seeking opportunities to grow my network.
