I’m a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with 8+ years of experience, focused on delivering value through superior resource and people management as well as excellent communication skills. Most recently, I initiated, planned, executed, and closed a project moving over 8,000 SKUs from a 100,000 sq ft. offsite building to a main building expansion while managing changing 3rd party construction completion dates, COVID-based labor shortages, and permit issues, finishing at budget and ahead of schedule. My experience also includes business process analysis, improvement, and maintenance in addition to labor management systems implementations, such as JDA. I am experienced with agile and traditional project management methodologies and have also utilized lean manufacturing methodologies frequently in order to reduce waste and increase value. One such application of lean manufacturing involved using value stream mapping to analyze the receiving process and increase throughput by 15%. My passion for people, project management, and process improvement comes from over 10 years ago starting as a floor level employee. I noticed many issues with the processes we were using that made my job more difficult without adding value as well as barriers to increased efficiency that could be solved easily. Luckily, I was at a great company with fantastic leaders who not only nurtured my growth, but also encouraged and empowered me to begin solving these issues and removing barriers. Seeing how much easier this made my coworkers jobs and the increased speed with which daily work was completed inspired me to pursue my current career path of project management and continuous improvement.
