Litigating employment matters with help from partners, as well as helping partners go to trial. Helped the firm win a difficult and complex employment matter in trial in May 2022. Assisted in this trial by examining important witnesses in direct testimony as well as expert witness. Drafted, argued, and won multiple motions in limine to prevent the other side from introducing irrelevant evidence. Helped in drafging appellee's brief for same case. Assisting partners in consultations and evaluating incoming cases after consultation is complete, thereby helping partners attorneys and law clerks hit the ground running on new cases. Finally, I support the firm by drafting new protocols, training new evaluation staff, and publishing articles in TELG's behalf that have appeared in publications such as Law360. Currently admitted to California Bar and DC Bar.

Dedicated to finding, editing, and publishing interesting, thought provoking, and beautiful academic articles for the 2016 and 2017 Spring Issues. After the 2015-2016 Editor-in-Chief made the visionary decision to move from physical publishing to publishing via Squarespace, I designed and developed a website as beautiful as it is informative to serve as a platform for submitted academic articles. Led a team dedicated to good design and pushing the boundaries of what an academic journal can be. The two websites I designed have been supplanted by later editions of the GPPR Spring Edition, but my impact on GPPR's bold Squarespace based design can still be seen as of the 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 editions. Proud to have been part of an effort to push student-led academic publishing to new levels combining good web design, informative and clear data visualization, and avoiding wasteful physical publishing.

Spearheaded project to listen to +200 hours of witness/suspect interrogations. Summarized them into short memos with only relevant data and statements to increase speed and accuracy of DDA’s review. Drafted Statements of Facts, lists of witness statements and other legal documents for the court. Aided in organizing and ordering evidence to be presented in court.

The experience made me a better writer and gave me a much deeper understanding of Indian and Pakistani media and politics. Six months in, I was entrusted with the task of mentoring new writers. As an editor, I made sure to improve their skills rather than simply improving their articles. While not employment, volunteering, or an internship, my time writing and editing here was instrumental towards building the skills I used every day as an attorney.

Volunteered and moved up an ahead-of-its-time progressive congressional campaign in favor of universal healthcare in 2014. Manually resolved technical issue that auto-canceled hundreds of monthly donations by calling affected donors. Drafted a list of numbers, notified donors while apologizing and soliciting re-subscribing. Called 300 households over 3 days: campaign recorded a spike in donations. Managed donation verification process: ensured that donations complied with Federal Election Commission regulations. This required knowledge of FEC rules. Handled thousands of dollars of transactions total. Trained dozens of volunteers to complete the same task. The campaign was the only 100% transparent campaign in the race.

Working at Ameriprise taught me the essentials of good administrative work. I helped digitize and streamline the office's archives while reminding clients of their appointments. I also updated countless files with up to date information about the clients. I learned how to use enterprise software and how to work with advanced excel programming.
