Concurrent with the pursuit of his graduate degree, Austin began his career in 2018 as a Rotational Analyst Intern with the University of Florida Office of Real Estate Development Corporation in Gainesville, FL, where he supported pre-development efforts for the Innovation District and contributed to financial forecasting and strategic growth initiatives. Following graduation in 2019, he joined Foundry Commercial, a real estate private equity operator with $4.5 billion AUM. Over nearly five years with the firm, he advanced from Analyst to Senior Associate on the Development & Investments team based in Boca Raton, FL. In this role, Austin was responsible for portfolio management and valuation efforts, assisted in the closing and disposition of approximately $800 million worth of real estate joint venture investments, and worked alongside the CIO and Fund Manager on asset allocation and capitalization efforts (debt and equity placement) for roughly $1.0 billion of annual investment volume. In 2024, Austin shifted towards a career in private wealth management, and currently holds his Series 7 and Series 66 licenses. Austin began working as a Wealth Manager with Lido Advisors in December 2024. Austin is based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and holds a Master of Science in Real Estate and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance from the University of Florida.
