In this project, we are undertaking the development of a platform inspired by RAWG, leveraging the RAWG API to curate a comprehensive database of games. Drawing inspiration from Pinterest, we implemented a user-friendly interface that allows game enthusiasts to create and organize boards tailored to their gaming preferences. Users can seamlessly save and categorize their favorite games, fostering a personalized and visually engaging experience. Some of our tasks in this endeavor encompassed not only the integration of the RAWG API for real-time game data but also the design and implementation of a dynamic and intuitive user interface. Each user has the ability to craft personalized boards, akin to Pinterest boards, where they can store, showcase, and revisit their preferred games. This project not only showcased our technical proficiency in API integration but also highlighted a creative approach to user experience design. By combining the robust functionalities of the RAWG API with an innovative visual organization system, we successfully created a platform that caters specifically to the needs and preferences of avid gamers.● Created and deployed a Pinterest-style game curating application using AWS (EC2, RDS, Route 53) and Gitlab Pages● Implemented a search feature that retrieves games not included in the application’s seeder file by performing a third-party games API fetch of the top five results, add them to the application's database in the backend, and display the results to the user in the frontend on a search results page● Integrated JWTdown for FastAPI login authentication to track user preferences for a personalized experience● Drafted tickets and planned periodic milestone demos to ensure timely development over product timeline

ApexAutoDealer is a full-service car dealership application that allows users to manage their inventory, track service appointments, and facilitate vehicle sales all in one user-friendly interface.● Mapped out domain driven design to identify the bounded contexts of the application, along with the different entities and value objects to be used to facilitate data flow● Utilized a Django back-end framework to create RESTful APIs, separated the application into microservices which each use a PostgreSQL database and communicate with each other via a Docker bridge network● Designed a robust poller mechanism to facilitate efficient, timely data migration between sales, service and inventory● Used React hooks to create a single-page application and implementing a search filter that retrieves all service appointments associated with a specific vehicle identification number

A user-friendly project management application that differentiates functionality based on the role that the user plays on that specific project.● Wrote view functions in Python to allow users to create an account, login, logout, create, list, edit, and delete both projects and project tasks for each logged-in user ● Integrated Django authentication to protect project and task editing and deletion from unauthorized users.● Implemented a popup box that filters access features based on user’s team member role so that project owners have editing/deleting privileges, project contributors have viewing privileges and can add/edit task notes● Built a custom Django user model to exclude the admin superuser, current logged-in user and to display users’ first and last names from dropdown options when assigning project roles to create a more streamlined and readable experience
