- Worked on the Identity Team- Wrote and maintained multiple applications, some handling over 1000 requests per second- Setup Kubernetes in AWS for our team to run our applications. Identified best practices for Dockerizing our applications, and deploying on Kubernetes.- Evangelized Kubernetes within the company by holding classes, labs, and giving tech talks.- Developed and maintained our AWS infrastructure.- Worked with the Kubernetes open source community to help steer the project to meet our needs. Made open-source contributions to multiple Kubernetes related projects like kops, and the Jenkins kubernetes-plugin.- Helped build, and design our CI/CD infrastructure on Kubernetes.- Wrote, open-sourced, and maintain mrcrypt (https://github.com/aol/mrcrypt), a command-line tool to make envelope encryption with AWS KMS easier.Key technologies:- Kubernetes- Java- Jenkins- Spring

- Developed and maintained software that ensured the integrity and quality of data used by mission-critical systems in over 60 countries.- Developed a website that would monitor and display the current state of select ports on dozens of mission-critical systems. The site was used 24/7 by employees in the Network Operations Center.- Assigned as team-lead of a team of interns on multiple projects, and successfully saw the projects through completion and deployment.- Monitored the security of the external network using QualysGuard, and took steps to remediate potential security issues.- Developed tools to audit and gather IP data about TNS's network, and display that data in an easily digestible way. The reports were used by C-Level employees to make operational decisions.
