I currently work as a Director of Operations for Thigbe, a full-service energy consulting group focusing on helping clients save money in the Texas utility markets. As the Director of Operations, I am responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operational activities to ensure the efficiency, effectiveness, and overall success of the organization. I achieve this by developing and implementing operational policies and procedures that align with the company's strategic goals and objectives. In addition to supporting staff, I act as the main point of contact for our suppliers, fostering strong relationships to ensure the smooth running of operations. I also provide regular status reports directly to ownership, keeping them informed on the progress of our operational activities.Before my current role, I served as a Customer Service Manager and Project Manager for Thigbe. As the Customer Service Manager, I led and managed a team of customer service agents to provide exceptional service and support to customers. During this time, I focused on improving our customer service processes, resulting in a significant decrease in time to serve a customer, as well as errors and missed tasks. I closely monitored and analyzed customer service metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and growth opportunities. I made changes to our CRM to prevent errors and make processes more efficient. In addition to my role as Customer Service Manager, I also served as a project manager, leading several critical projects for our larger customers. These projects included overseeing three prominent use studies, negotiating around 100 lease contracts, and managing a few electrical aggregations. I have a Master's in Engineering Management and a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering from Lamar University. My senior design project was a 2 million metric tons per year ethylene production facility and my team won the Best Project at the Design Symposium. The project included detailed process flow diagrams, piping and instrument diagrams, and a design for a heat integration system to minimize utility costs for the proposed plant. I have completed three internships for Vistra Energy in the Power Optimization Center. During the internships, I created advanced pattern recognition models and alarms to improve the equipment reliability and thermal performance for the entire fleet of power plants.
