Wrote firmware for 4th Generation Intel Xeon Processors, code-named Sapphire Rapids. Translated architectural requirements into clean and performant C code. Performed code review for teammates and provided constructive feedback to improve performance and legibility. Collaborated with validation teammates to identify test requirements and interpret results. Applied practical understanding of cryptography, including encryption, decryption, and hash functions. Provided comprehensive and illustrated documentation of my area of responsibility.

Assisted with education projects using agent-based models for the study of evolutionary biology at the Center for Connected Learning under Michael Horn, Assistant Professor of Learning Sciences and Computer Science. Researched and developed an interactive simulation in NetLogo, an agent-based modeling language and environment, to show how beetle populations evolve different horn and antenna sizes as a result of environmental conditions. Wrote a Python script to statistically analyze 142 pretests and posttests of a 7th grade science curriculum that used an interactive, agent-based model of frog evolution to teach evolutionary biology. Presented results of statistical analysis to lead researchers at Northwestern University and received acknowledgements in a paper published in 2016 and a second, follow-up paper currently in preprint (2024). Contributed to future development of an interactive, agent-based model of frog evolution written in Dart.

Designed and developed 3 interactive, image-based product catalogs for an online cabinet retailer using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for the frontend and MAMP (Apache web server, MySQL database, and PHP) for the backend. Entered new and updated product data in MySQL database. Refactored codebase regularly for conciseness and reusability, and optimized performance for fast page loads while serving high-quality product images for all major web browsers.
