Austyn Perry is passionate about transforming communities through equity-driven real estate development and leadership training. She combines her extensive experience in affordable housing finance with a deep commitment to racial equity and social justice. After years in finance, Austyn made a pivotal career shift to focus on the intersection of housing and equity. She now leads initiatives that bring diverse voices into decision-making processes and foster radical inclusion in the real estate industry. She now serves as the Racial Equity Program Manager at the California Coalition for Rural Housing (CCRH).In addition to her work with CCRH, Austyn co-founded YBUILD, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young Black professionals in the land use and development sectors. Austyn also provides consulting services in DEI, organizational capacity building, and social media management.Austyn’s dedication extends beyond her professional roles; she is actively involved with the Urban Land Institute and serves on several boards focused on creating equitable communities. She is driven by a belief that true community transformation requires decision-making that centers the voices of those most impacted.
