CurrentThe Weinheimer Verband Alter Corpsstudenten (WVAC) is the umbrella organization for alumni of the Weinheimer Student Corps. It was founded on April 26th, 1903 and includes the alumni associations of all current 60 Weinheimer Student Corps.The Weinheimer Corps have over 10,000 initiated members, and more than 1,600 active collegiate members. Famous alumni include: president of the European parliament, Klaus Hänsch; former CEO of RWE AG, Jürgen Grossmann; former CEO of BMW AG, Eberhard von Kuenheim; former CEO and chairman of the supervisory board Munich Re, Hans-Jürgen Schinzler, chairman of the supervisory board TUEV SUED AG, Karl Eugen Becker, chairman of the supervisory board Deutsche Bahn AG, Heinrich Weiss, chairman of the supervisory board TUI AG, Klaus Mangold, and many, many more. The Weinheimer Student Corps also maintain a cooperation with Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity International, a college Fraternity with over 270 chapters in the United States and Canada.
