About Andrew Homer

Andrew Homer has written extensively on the Black Country and Shropshire and is the author of nine published books. He has presented lectures to a range of organisations over the years and appeared on local and national television. After a career as a College Lecturer, Andrew worked as a Historic Character at the Black Country Living Museum and could be found explaining the history of the buildings and the stories of the people who helped forge the Black Country. Now retired to Devon, Andrew enjoys collecting local ghost stories, particularly those which have historical connections. He also enjoys a pint of real ale preferably served in a traditional pub!
