During my HVAC draftsmanship, I developed some tools for Automatically drawing the schematic sheets for Air Flow Diagrams with populating the block attributes from clients Excel sheet. I have a very similar program to generate sheets for piping manifold drawings which you can see live in my youtube channel.Our company was a small turnkey company and they did not had any 3D softwares like AutoCAD MEP. We used AutoCAD’s 2D only. But I wrote my AutoLisp programs so that I can work in 2D and but view in 3D. That actually convinced our management to buy 3D softwares like AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP
