Dedicated and results-driven professional with a passion for education and community service. As a City Year Americorps member, I collaborated with a partner teacher to provide comprehensive support and behavior management in two second-grade classrooms, impacting 48 students. I designed and implemented tailored lesson plans for small groups, focusing on a targeted list of 12 students. Additionally, I worked with the school's 'Say Yes' coordinator to enhance student attendance through strategic events and initiatives.Honored to be appointed as the Corps Council representative, where I facilitated monthly check-in meetings to drive continuous improvement within our service year. Beyond the classroom, I proudly served in the Ohio National Guard as a combat medic, receiving an Army Achievement Medal. During this time, I played a crucial role in various COVID-related missions, including deployment to Elkton Federal Correctional Institution and supporting nursing home and hospital staff. My commitment to service and leadership is reflected in my diverse experiences, contributing to positive outcomes both in and out of the classroom.
