When I decided on a major career change, I reflected on what in my past made me happy. I remember in high school writing HTML for friends' social media pages, being paid in lunch snacks, and loving every challenge and request I received. I want to translate that passion I felt writing code for MySpace 15 years ago into a new career. I am completing boot camp with Generation USA, spending over 400+ hours learning web development skills. Including but not limited to CSS, JavaScript, Git, GitHub, SCRUM, Object-Oriented Programming, DOM manipulation, Bootstrap, HTML, etc. Additional independent skills training also taken to build front/back end maps, frameworks, coding language, and programming skills.I look forward to new opportunities to learn and grow my new skills. I have, and currently work with a wide range of clients, from 5 to 95! in all walks of life. I have developed and implemented social programs for combating social isolation in the elderly and for youth education. As well as maintained a high degree of accuracy in data input and documentation for large caseloads.I'm excited to start my new journey from teenage HTML to a professional web developer.
