MICRO’s fleet of six foot tall museums is transforming one of the oldest institutional structures into a distributed network.Our award-winning team of designers, technologists, and storytellers create vending machine sized museums that bring the museum experience into unexpected places.At MICRO, we work with innovative partners and venues to install the museums in sites where they will have the most impact, like hospitals, transit hubs, building developments and civic spaces.The first museums in MICRO’s fleet focus on the core sciences. MICRO’s team build educational experiences that transform visitors into active explorers. Every MICRO museum comes with a suite of tools that engage learners of all ages, from books to audio guides, tiny art installations, videos, and connections to local and global opportunities for action.With a series on a new topic joining the fleet every six months, MICRO is breaking down walls between the scientific community and the public, providing equal access to fundamental knowledge.
