•Budget Management: Develop and managed $400,000 Aquatic Department budget from 2007-2012. Manage $240,000 budget for Aquatics, Sports and Active Adults 2012-present. •Campaign Chairperson for staff campaign 2010 to present; increased staff giving by $5,000 in 2012 and by 77% in 2013. •Assist with Community phase of the annual giving campaign 2011-present. Cultivate key volunteers to include the Campaign Chairperson and other team members. Increased amount raised by 40% in 2013. •Personnel Management: Responsible for hiring, training, and supervising employees. Oversee 80 lifeguards, swim instructors, water fitness instructors and part time supervisors. Oversee one full-time Associate Director of Active Adults and Volunteers and oversee the Youth Sports Coordinator.•Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and manage over 150 swim team volunteers from 2007-2012. Creation of new volunteer opportunities led to an increase of overall branch volunteer hours by 11% in 2013. •Supervise Youth Sports Department; overseeing one sports coordinator, all part-time sports staff and all volunteers. Overall department growth in 2013 included an increased net promoter score by 40 points, an increase in overall sports program participation by 11% and increased sports camp participation by 40%. •Created and implemented new Active Adult Programs in 2013 that resulted in a significant increase of events, programs and participants. •Development and implementation of monthly in-service programs stressing safe program practices and leadership of staff through various emergency scenarios. •Serve over 1,100 participants in our group swim lessons program, increasing participation by 14%.•Coordination and facilitation of the Learn to Swim Program, serving over two hundred 2nd graders at local elementary schools and the Water Safety Initiative in partnership with Henrico County Schools serving all 5th grade classes of 12 local schools.
