Hi, my name is Autumn Stone and I just moved to Portland, Oregon. I’ve been looking for a dance studio to teach hip hop. I’ve been dancing for about roughly 13 years. I have taken a variety of dance classes and have been to many dance conventions learning in different styles such as contemporary, ballet, heels, and mainly hip hop. I work at an entertainment company in deerfield Illinois as a dancer and work well with kids and motivating them to step out of their comfort zone while making it fun and enjoyable at the same time. I’ve worked with kids from ages 4 and up. I was also apart of a professional dance company called Hip Hop ConnXion HQ for a couple years and had many opportunities to learn from amazing dancers such as twitch, Ian Eastwood, wildabeast, and many more. I’ve also performed for events like weddings, showcases, school shows, and more. I was mainly on the search for workshops or master classes I could take in Oregon and realized I would love to teach as well and I’m grateful to have found MJCC, but I’d also like to find a dance instructor job for more advanced students.
