Researcher under Lubos Brieda and Matthew Gilpin. Spent the majority of Fall 2023 on testing a solid-fuel adamantane thruster in a vacuum chamber environment for CubeSat integration. Built a Langmuir probe to characterize the electron density of plasma produced by the thruster and presented a paper on this work at the Region VI American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics conference in March of 2024. Also contributed to a paper presented on the thruster at the 2024 International Electric Propulsion Conference in June of 2024.

Broke the apogee and velocity record for amateur rocketry in October 2024.Composites- Supported the construction of composite components, including the case, nosecone, nozzle, fins, and aft insulation plate. - Leading the construction of a high-temperature nosecone mold to transition from wet layup fiberglass to prepreg composites, enhancing performance and manufacturing efficiency.- Driving improvements in the reliability and quality of in-house composite overwrapped filament winder.- Developing cored fin design to reduce fin mass- Planning the development of a fiberglass payload capsule shell for enhanced structural integrity on future rockets.Avionics- Worked on the design and printing of a PETG avionics unit in Siemens Nx- Developing dry box to store 3D print filaments to improve print qualityOther- Assisted in casting solid propellant grains and integrating linen phenolic casing into the rocket.
