I’m a Senior Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering student at MSOE with diverse hands-on, team-based engineering laboratory and standard project experiences. I have previous quality assurance, customer relations, and human services experience and leadership experience as the Vice President of the Society of Biological Engineers and ASBMB organization at MSOE. My technical skills include SOLIDWORKS, Autodesk Inventor, C, Java, Aseptic Techniques, Serial Dilutions, Gram Staining, and Engineering Design. Dedicating 20 hours per week working in quality systems as an intern at Schreiber Foods along with a full academic schedule. Participating in various lab environments and laboratory experiments throughout my high school and college careers I have been able to obtain vast knowledge of different experimental procedures and how to properly utilize specific glassware, machines, and technology such as Electron Light Microscopes, Spectrophotometers, Fume Hoods, and Incubators. With this knowledge, I am able to complete various experiments, procedures, and tests required to achieve pertinent results and data. At MSOE, I was the 2023-2024 event coordinator for the Society of Biological Engineers and the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I am now the 2024-2025 vice president for the Society of Biological Engineers and the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. In these events and meetings, members of this society are able to meet with one another, gain connections, talk with professors, and learn more about biological engineering. My experience so far includes various customer service-related positions and quality assurance and systems. As a cashier and stock person at Hobby Lobby, I worked extensively with customers to find their needed materials and products. During my Sophomore and Junior school year I worked as a phonathon caller on-campus where I have learned to adapt to undesired situations when it comes to calling alumni, friends, and family of the campus. In the summer of 2023 I worked as a quality assurance intern at Galloway Company working with quality not only in finished products but the quality of our company as a whole. Right now, I work as a quality systems intern at Schreiber Foods aiding in their quality management systems and integrations.Through my prior work experiences, co-curricular, and academic experience, I’ve developed strong teamwork, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and analytical skills that I know are important in any professional setting.
