As an Assistant Director of Events & Programs at NDSU Foundation, I plan and execute impactful and engaging events that support the fundraising and alumni relations goals of the organization. I leverage my communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders, including donors, faculty, staff, and students, and ensure the events are aligned with the mission and vision of the foundation. I also oversee the budget, logistics, marketing, and evaluation of the events, and apply best practices and innovative solutions to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the programs. I have over two years of experience in the higher education sector, having previously worked as an Admissions Representative at Minnesota State University, Moorhead, where I promoted the university to prospective students and assisted them with the enrollment process. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies and a Masters of Educational Leadership - Student Affairs from the same university where I developed my passion for creating meaningful and memorable experiences that foster community and connection. My core competencies include communication, teamwork, event planning, project management, and customer service. I am always eager to learn new skills and explore new opportunities that will help me grow as a professional and contribute to the success of the foundation and the university.
