I am an Extension Educator at Purdue Extension, where I design and deliver health and human sciences programs to diverse audiences in the community. My programs are based on research-based information and innovative methods, and aim to improve health literacy, well-being, and quality of life for individuals and families. I have a strong background in healthcare services, with previous roles as a Community Health Worker, a Medical Assistant, and a nationally registered Emergency Medical Technician. I have developed skills in first aid, medical terminology, customer service, and data entry, and have experience with various lab programs. I hold a Master of Public Health degree from Purdue University Global. My goal is to contribute to the prevention and control of chronic diseases, the promotion of healthy behaviors, and the reduction of health disparities in the population.
