I bring over a decade of experience in creating engaging copy and content across magazines, websites, social media, branding and more to my role at Slice.Following the completion of a Bachelor of Journalism at Bond University in 2012, I've penned for publications across the globe. Beginning my freelance career at South Australian Style Magazine, I quickly became the go-to writer for celebrity interviews. I continued my lifestyle journalism career through the Gold Coast’s Label Magazine and Thoroughbred Racing SA’s Fashion at The Races blog.I eventually moved into copywriting for local governments, agencies, and a bevy of businesses across hospitality, beverage, medical, events and property industries. My words have also appeared on the labels of Sparkke Change Beverage Company’s cans, and gins by Three Little Birds Distillery.Insatiably curious, I love talking to people and finding out what makes them tick. As Slice's copywriter and content producer, I translate complex ideas into compelling stories across formats and channels, and shift seamlessly between different TOVs. I make sure your business stands out from the crowd and help your brand’s personality shine. When I'm not writing captivating content, you’ll find me exploring South Australia’s regions in search of memorable food and wine experiences.

Writing is my expertise; working as a freelance content creator, I am accustomed to managing many accounts, priorities, projects, budgets and deadlines at once. I am just as equipped to file compact stories under pressure as I am writing elaborate feature articles, web content and colourful, tight captions. I led brand development and managed marketing and advertising from beginning to establishment, managed social media, SEO, web development, internal and external communications. Operationally, I managed the office, administration, budgets, rental inspections and negotiations, and internal and external hire across the boardroom and large-scale balcony events. I was able to get the building to rental capacity in under 18 months of operations and built a reputable brand that captured the executive co-working market. However, all founders know when it's time to move to the next project. Having achieved some incredible milestones, it was time to exit the business in February 2022. Show less
