I am currently a student at the University of Cincinnati pursuing a bachelor's degree in Public Health. I have four summer employment seasons at Clinton Hills Swim Club under Swimsafe Pool Management as both a lifeguard and a pool attendant. As a lifeguard, I enforced safety protocols both in and out of the pool, cleaned the pool deck and bathrooms, and collaborated with my diverse group of coworkers on the creation and enforcement of new safety regulations. As a pool attendant, which I plan on continuing in the summers to come, I oversee the front desk area by checking in members and guests, ensure safety protocols are being followed upon entry, maintain the snack bar space for frequent health inspections, communicate with a diverse group of people who belong to the pool, and also collaborate and create new policies and health standards for the overall benefit of the swim club. After I graduate, I plan on pursuing my master's degree at UC in counseling, and am hoping to have a career as a clinical counselor.
