Hello! My name is Ava Hamilton and I am a fourth-year, undergraduate student at Ohio University. I am majoring in Political Science Pre-Law, minoring in Health Services Administration, and am pursuing certificates in Appalachian Studies and Law, Justice, and Culture. I am greatly interested in public policy, health equity, and bridging economic disparities. I am specifically interested in studying how the opioid crisis has impacted the Appalachian region, and I wish to one day pursue a career in health policy implementation and/or healthcare reform.
