About Ava Tan

Hello! I'm Ava, a display electrical engineer at Apple, working on  Vision Products.I obtained my Ph.D in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley in May 2021. My Ph.D work has encompassed a wide variety of nanoscale device/semiconductor processing and fabrication techniques; electrical characterization of semiconductor devices and nonvolatile memories (FeFET, FeRAM); reliability and failure analysis of nonvolatile memories; and modeling of defect behaviors.Previously, I received my B.S in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Cornell University in May 2016, as well as a minor in Computer Science.
