I am a student motivated by a passion for innovating sustainability in energy and materials production, empowered by strong collaboration and problem-solving skills, seeking a chemical engineering internship. Last year, I worked on a team to perform an environmental and economical analysis on the implementation of solar panels onto a local library; this provided me insight on the broad spectrum of aspects to take into consideration for a project like this, such as greenhouse gas emissions, cost, and efficiency. The past two summers, I worked as an Outdoor Lawn & Garden Associate for Lowe's Home Improvement, operating a forklift and other power equipment in an efficient and safe manner. At Purdue, I am a Student Leader of the piccolo section for the "All-American" Marching Band where I uphold high standards of excellence, delivering entertaining performances for the community. In addition, I am a Growth Chair for the Gamma Pi chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, a national honorary fraternity with the mission to serve and support music departments in universities. As Growth Chair, I have culminated interest for our fraternity through the organization of engaging recruitment events.
