In charge of market management team in Taiwan, Hong Kong & Macau

• Manage team of 12 people including Associate Director of Sales, Sales Manager, Sales Executive and Sales Coordinator• To ensure the team achieve the budget, Revpar target• Developing and Executing sales strategies to maximize overall hotel revenue• Provides positive and aggressive leadership to ensure maximum revenue potential• Analyzing & Reporting on Sales and Financial Data• Analyzes market information by using sales systems and implements strategy to achieve property’s financial room and catering goals.• Assists Revenue Management with completing accurate six period projections.• Reviews sales and catering guest satisfaction results to identify areas of improvement.

• Manage team of 13 people including Associate Director of Events, Events Manager, Events Executive and Events Coordinator• To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Sales and Events Department in accordance with the departmental objectives.• Responsible for total revenue generation and yield maximization• Establishes marketing goals jointly with the Director of Sales and Marketing and Director of Food & Beverage to ensure share of market and profitability of products and/or services.• To be responsible for the overall Events Department’s revenue and expense budget.• To establish in conjunction with the Director of Sales & Marketing and Director of Food & Beverage, an Annual Marketing Plan with measurable objectives, strategies and action plan so as to achieve revenue and profit targets as outlined in the Annual Business Plan.• Achieved Events budget in 2014 and 2015

• Manage team of 25 people including Associate Director of Events, Events Manager, Events Executive and Events Coordinator• To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Sales and Events Department in accordance with the departmental objectives.• Responsible for total revenue generation and yield maximization• Establishes marketing goals jointly with the Director of Sales and Marketing and Director of Food & Beverage to ensure share of market and profitability of products and/or services.• To be responsible for the overall Events Department’s revenue and expense budget.• To establish in conjunction with the Director of Sales & Marketing and Director of Food & Beverage, an Annual Marketing Plan with measurable objectives, strategies and action plan so as to achieve revenue and profit targets as outlined in the Annual Business Plan.• Successfully implement the new concept of Great Event = Hyatt to the hotel and separate one events team to event sales team and event planning team accordingly.

• Manage team of 5 people including Convention Services Manager, Assistant Manager of Convention Services• Be the main hotel liaison for all Residential M.I.C.E. Group Clients above 10 number of rooms after contracted by Sales or direct inquiries through telephone or correspondence.• Reviews Residential Group Order Files to ensure correct booking procedures, including Group room and meeting programmes, catering set up and themes, contractual agreements, etc are in order.• Provides operational Department Heads accurate Group event forecasts to enable Operating Departments to adjust their operations and manning level.• Jointly with the Director of Sales to be responsible for meeting the overall Events Department’s revenue and expense targets.• To assist with the preparation and regular update of the departmental budget• Successfully handle large scale of MICE groups and receive positive feedback: ex: Yum! Restaurant Incentive Group / Amway China Leadership Group / MLB basketball group / FEI (Federation Equestre Internationale) Annual Conference

• Establishes a rapport with guests maintaining effective customer relationships and handle all guest complaints, requests and enquiries related to Convention Service• Personally and frequently verify that guests are receiving the best possible service• Spends time in each function/event to ensure that the function/event is managed well by the Banquet and supporting team and functions to the fullest expectations

• In charge of Banking / Insurance / Legal Service accounts in events department, which are top revenue generate accounts in events.• Plans and makes sales visit to corporate companies which is the current and potential clienteles to explore into new Catering business opportunities.• Entertains and conducts site inspections to relevant Companies representatives/delegates whenever required.• Establishes strong contacts to source for information in regard to companies and government functions/events.

• Carefully plans Sales Calls into define objectives.• Maintains a detailed knowledge of hotel facilities, features and services.• Conducts extensive competitor research and maintains excellent Product Knowledge of the hotel.
