Over the past 6 years, I’ve taught myself the ins and outs of digital marketing, the different social media platforms, understanding different audiences and how to sell to them, as well as how to create compelling content, copy, and social media posts. Developing a brand’s presence and online strategy is something that I have so much fun doing.Through this knowledge, I created two separate online brands/e-com sites that were run entirely by me.@FOLXofficial - @hemphealsyouWhat was involved here?- Shopify store creation, creating product listings and cataloging- Creating social media profiles, content, images, blog posts, IG caption copy, and responses to followers and customers- Creating visual content with programs like Canva and Bazaart- Understanding what content was highest reaching through the use of analytics- Heavy hashtag and keyword research- Consistent engagement with followers and customers- Setting posts through HootSuite and/or Buffer with close attention paid to best posting times- Fulfilling orders through a print on demand company (for FOLXofficial) with meticulous attention to detail- Reaching out to several different influencers in the queer community, working with them to promote my products which created new customers and increased sales- Research for new designs, content, and marketing opportunities
