About Ava Schmidt

Cleveland native, graduated from Ohio University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in urban planning and sustainability and a certificate in environmental studies. Previously, I've studied urban planning abroad at the University of Edinburgh, interned with MORPC, and served as an AmeriCorps member with the Cleveland City Planning Department. I started at the Famicos Foundation as a Cleveland Foundation Public Service Fellow, analyzing the impact of the organization’s many programs and strategize ways to increase efficiency and better serve the community. I now serve as Famicos' Neighborhood Development Planner in our Real Estate Development Department.
