As an REU participant at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, I was a collaborator on a solar simulator design project, providing key insight and calculations based on physical principles and my experience working with integrated circuits and electronics. I collaborated with students in the computer science and physics departments at the university for this design project. - Developed a program to take dimensional data from the user and recommend radiance values to give an approximation of solar radiation at AM0. - Researched the current market of solar simulators and proposed suggestions for components to fit the university's needs.
