As a policy research assistant with over five years of experience and a drive to understand and improve the criminal justice system, I appreciate having an evidence-based approach to understanding topics and policies. I enjoy the continuous learning that is research and take pride in being a lifelong student, so I aim to bring my knowledge of research methodologies, data collection, and analysis skills to each new experience and opportunity. As a policy researcher, I have developed data collection, government document and literature reviews, project management, reporting writing, and presentation skills. As a forensic psychology student and public defense intern, I have developed a deep appreciation for the effort it takes to help justice-involved individuals.
