As a first year college student I have yet to build the path to my career and achieve all of my goals. However, the tools I've learned over my few years on this earth have not only inspired my success, but drives my ambitions and builds my repertoire.In both school and life, I have always been a "people-pleaser". Is that always necessarily a good thing? No! But in my own experience, I lean towards what is best for the future of someone's day, someone's life and even the growth of a business. I want people to feel safe and understood. I have always felt that way; an inkling toward creating healthier relationships and building trust within others to make them feel heard.Although I am currently a server at a restaurant, I see my job as far more than serving food. I interact with hundreds of different people in a given week, I remember guest's tastes and preferences and even have first-name basis with a few. Outside of work I have been involved in leadership opportunities at my high school; teaching groups, answering questions and giving advice to others.
