Perfect North Slopes is a ski resort located in the greater Cincinnati area. In this role, I get the opportunity to work with people of all ages and demographics. By providing them with a safe and fun environment to learn and practice a new skill, I am able to help develop their skills in the area of snow-sports. Each year, I teach 3-5 6 week classes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced skiers and have the pleasure of helping them learn new techniques and lead a group of determined individuals. Working as a ski instructor has been the best opportunity for me to develop my interpersonal skills and be a catalyst for the success of other people.

Working in lift operations at Perfect North Slopes gave me the ability to enhance my skills in working with heavy equipment and one on one customer service. As a lift operator, I was responsible for maintaining a safe environment for all guests. In this role, remaining vigilant of our surroundings was key to success on the job. My favorite aspect of this job was introducing myself to new responsibilities within a company that I have worked with for many years. Though it was not a position that I had previous experience in, I found that my success in this position solidified my aspirations to be an adaptable and flexible employee.

A Total Tan is a small tanning salon with locations around the greater Cincinnati area. As an employee at A Total Tan, I am responsible for maintaining a clean environment for customers by diligently cleaning each bed after use and performing routine chores throughout the day, offering information on our packages and additional products, and building relationships with customers. This role has offered me the chance to begin working in the sales industry through gaining knowledge regarding our products and services and effectively selling them to customers.

Town & Country Kennel is a kennel and cattery where animal owners can leave their pets for an extended period of time, trusting they will be loved and cared for. As a kennel attendant, I am responsible for caring for the animals staying with us. This includes maintaining a clean space, providing food and medicine specially curated to each animal, and any miscellaneous chores needed to sustain a working environment for employees and customers. This position has prepared me for an extensive workload,as we would care for up to 80 animals a day during our busy season.
