I'm a curious and eager to learn Computer Science student attending classes through the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at ASU. I originally majored in Business Administration when I first started college, but after a late night epiphany digging through some code I came to realize what amounted to a life-long love of computers and everything to do with them and decided to pursue my passion that I had held since I was young. As of Fall 2017 I'm entering my Junior-level courses and it is everything I dreamed of and more, and I'm eagerly awaiting what my remaining time in school holds for me.My career aspirations are broad and varied at this point, I'm still branching out and exploring to try and pin down what exactly it is I want to do. There's so much out there, and due to my curious nature I want to see it all. I'm currently working with my faculty mentor on plans for a FURI (Fulton Undergraduate Research Initiative) proposal for next spring focusing on some of my research interests.Outside of my classes but still on campus, I spend my working hours giving back to my academic department. I've transitioned into being a tutor at the Fulton Tutoring Centers as well as an Undergrad Teaching Assistant for the Fulton Schools as well. I had been an Instructional Assistant previously working with middle school age children in math and science, and its been amazing to transition into another role at the higher-education level and being able to assist my fellow peers enrolled in Fulton courses.When I'm not on campus, I love to spend my downtime reading, pestering my cat, traveling and adventuring, baking, watching entirely too many things on Netflix, and trying to catch up on my back-log of "to-play" video games that are crowding up my shelves.Research Interests:Human- Computer Interaction, Artificial Intelligence, Practical Applications of Virtual Environments, Computer Assisted Animation, Educational Applications of Video Games, Augmented and Virtual Reality
