Avalon is an entrepreneur and business leader who has launched or helped launch three successful start-ups in the entertainment, communications, special event and tech publishing spaces. Over the years, Avalon has helped to build up Digital Mind State, a boutique creative agency managing and representing several of the top brands in the world.• Her strengths include strategic business development, organizational skills, strategic vision, negotiations, policy development, financing expertise, human resources, interpersonal skills, purpose-driven leadership.• Avalon is also a strong advocate for women in business, especially women of color, and believes in helping them find their voices.• One of her many other passions is fighting injustice whenever and wherever, but especially in the carceral system. She is actively involved with local and national organizations committed to the dismantling and changing of the current carceral system, while building a new system focused solely on harm reduction.
