When I began at Soho House & Co, there was 150 staff in the Head Office and in just under 2 years we are almost at 300. Soho House & Co is one of the fastest growing companies in Europe so it is a very fast paced environment and I have had to adapt and develop as my role has evolved to cater for the growing needs of the business and everyone in the office. I take pride in my role and remaining positive, and encouraging to my whole team especially in times when we are under enourmous pressure which is quite often. I'm enjoying the challenge and every day managing my time to ensure that all crucial requirements each day are met as well and managing office administration and the wide variety of tasks that pop up every day.

I began working for RF Hotels on a 3 day temp assignment. Quickly recognised as being efficient and being able to use wise initiative I was asked to stay full time and given numerous additional responsibilities that had not been suitably managed for quite some time. In less than a year I have made numerous key changes including:* A full review and change of various suppliers resulting in over £5,000 in savings within six months.* Reduction in ordering of unneccessary items/supplies. Savings of £750 approximately so far.* Re-writing of the office management procedures manual.* Creating inventory lists of office equipment to track necessary supply levels and avoid over-spending.* Reorganisation of a huge stock room and sell back of previously over-ordered stock to the highest bidder. Refunds of £1400 achieved.* Constant review of suppliers and ways to cut costs but maintain a 5* level in association with our Company reputation.* Reviewing all invoices prior to passing to Accounts. I noticed a duplicate charge from our photocopier supplier and reviewed invoices dating back to 2011 that had been incorrectly charged. After 5 months of phone calls and chasing we received a £1787 credit note back for incorrect charges.Further to the above, I have taken on board numerous other responsibilities to support the overall office running including:* Support to the Head Office Accountant - processing purchase invoices, general ledger entries and expenses inputting.* Providing PA cover to the Chairman (Sir Rocco Forte) when his PA has been on leave. This is an extremely demanding PA role.
