As the founder and director of Avalonia Ltd, a small independent publisher of books on mythology, magic and the occult, I hold a pivotal role in overseeing and orchestrating all aspects of the company's operations. My responsibilities include strategic planning, business development, financial management, and project management. I curate and acquire new content, collaborate with authors and illustrators, manage the editorial, design, production and distribution processes - as well as all aspects of social media, marketing and relationships with retailers. I may have started Avalonia as a hobby while pursuing a career in freelance writing and design in the early 00's, but today it is a thriving small business. I developed it through years of raising a chid with profound learning disabilities, degree studies and undertaking pilgrimages to more than 25 countries to visit places of significant religious significance, both ancient and modern - and meeting incredible people and communities along the way. I did it my way, I made mistakes - but Avalonia has always remained profitable and fulfilled a niche which needed filling.

Since 1999, I have had the privilege of making significant contributions to numerous magazines, journals, and part-work projects worldwide. My written works span across a diverse array of subjects, showcasing my expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality content.Subjects include: History of Religion, Alternative / New Religious Movements, Spiritual practice, history of magic and the occult, natural medicine and remedies, gardening and pilgrimage.
