Being a health & fitness enthusiast from an early age has driven me to play a positive role in the fitness journeys of a diverse range of clients. Through my experiences as a Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, and Strength and Conditioning Coach I have found a love for helping people become healthier versions of themselves.Alongside that, I have recently finalised a Bachelor of Human Kinetics (Honours), Minor in Psychology degree at the University of British Columbia Okanagan, where I garnered over 1000 hours of laboratory experience.During this period, I am greatly proud of the number of academic awards and achievements I received; most notably the Hugh M. Grant Go Global Scholarship, Human Kinetics Student Achievement Award, and Deputy Vice-Chancellor Scholarship. One paper based on research I completed in my honours thesis has recently been published with a second paper currently under review for potential publication. Due to the combination of my professional and academic experience, I specialize in coordinating and delivering engaging training sessions and group classes to individuals of varying fitness levels and abilities. Similarly, I can facilitate individual progression and recovery through the design of tailored programs and interventions. Through the use of my strong communication skills, I am able to foster trustworthy and positive connections with clients and industry professionals.Further to that, I exhibit a proven track record in leading and supporting research projects. Additionally, I am skilled in analyzing and interpreting datasets, while distributing findings to designated personnel. Additionally, I can prepare and supply a wide range of comprehensive reports in a clear and concise manner.Going forward, I am passionate about joining a dynamic environment where I can conduct meaningful work relating to my passion for health, exercise, well-being, and research.
