Researching self-monitored fiber optic hot wires with controllable heating profiles for biomedical applications that Carleton University is funding under the I-CUREUS program. Developing and testing a computer-controlled system capable of inscribing and analyzing TFBGs with configurable spatially modulated strength profiles.
