Avanti Natarajan is the Director - Student Affairs at Paavai Educational Institutions, Namakkal, Tamil Nadu. She has dynamically grown along with Paavai Institutions and has been involved in Student related activities helping them in holistic development. She is an architect by profession with her Bachelors in Architecture from School of Architecture and Planning, Anna University – Chennai and a Masters in Architecture from Pratt School of Architecture and Design, New York and is now pursuing her Ph.D in Architecture. She is an art enthusiast with wide knowledge in Music, Dance, Singing, Illustrations and Digital Art. She runs The Art Brew Creative Company, a design studio that she co-founded and works on Art, Architecture and Design catering to 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional creative needs of businesses and organisations. She also Co-founded Lil Trails, an organisation that works with children and parents to nurture the growing up journey of little ones.She was the Co-Convener and Convener of CII - IWN Salem Chapter for the years 2018-19 and 2019-20 respectively. She was also the Co-Convener for the Education Panel at CII-IWN Southern Region. She was a Teach for India Fellow for a while serving as a full-time teacher to children from low-income communities in some of the nation's most under-resourced schools and works with children of all age groups. She is a renowned watercolour artist and works on Commissioned Art, Digital Art and Children’s Books. She takes time to reach out to those on the art learning journey by conducting workshops and lectures. She is also pursuing her Doctorate in Architecture researching on the role of Art and Culture in Urban spaces. Her interests towards traditional art forms has led her to design, create products that revive the indigenous art and craft forms of South India.She creates an understanding on the importance of education and the need for quality education among younger generations and the role it plays in their upliftment. She believes in innovation at grass root levels and fosters it through institution wide events.
