I worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the courses “Introductory Spanish I” (twice), “Foundations in Critical Reading”, “Introduction to Linguistics” (twice) and “Phonetics”. My responsibilities as a Graduate Teaching Assistant included but were not limited to teaching, holding weekly office hours and student consultation, grading essays and discussion posts as well as creating weekly quizzes on Courselink, and invigilating and grading exams.

At the Embassy, I had the opportunity to see Mexican cultures and politics through an international lens, while immersing myself in these issues at a highly professional level. One of my main responsibilities at the Embassy of Mexico was to draft daily reports on human rights issues. Moreover, I was responsible for translating documents from Farsi to Spanish and vice versa, and interpreting the ambassador's public speeches. I was also responsible for updating the embassy's social media accounts on a weekly basis.
